What is IMACS?

The Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science (IMACS) is a nationally-renowned private institute funded to conduct educational research and development and to provide after-school, weekend and summer programs for bright and talented students from first through twelfth grade. At its headquarters in Plantation, Florida, IMACS maintains a full-time Curriculum Development Group (CDG) consisting of respected academics and educators. With funding from federal and local government grants, over a period of many years, and with the help of academics from around the globe, the IMACS CDG developed an extraordinary curriculum for talented elementary and secondary school students.

The IMACS curriculum includes the Mathematics Enrichment classes offered by Boundless Education in Connecticut, in addition to advanced mathematics and computer science curriculums, some of which are offered online.
